Although many couples are shying away from the idea of having children present at their wedding, sometimes it just is unavoidable, especially if the kids are part of the wedding ceremony.
Ensure that the kids know where their table is by decorating it slightly (or even boldly) different to that of the guest tables. Have a look at some of the cute place settings I found browsing the web.

Have different age appropriate activities at the kiddies table to keep them entertained. Make sure that the older kids are willing to help the younger ones when it comes to these. Simple activities such as colouring books and crayons will keep some kids occupied, whereas you might need other activites to keep the older ones busy with.
There are many creative ways to "number" the kiddies table, just think outside the box and browse the net for some inspiration ideas.

When it comes to feeding the youngsters keep it simple. Instead of serving them the same three course meal as you are the adults, negotiate a kiddies menu with the venue. Opt for simple finger foods instead of complicated meals and give them things they know and are familiar with. Once again ensure that the meal is age appropriate.
