The South African Wedding Guide

Succulents are water retaining plants that can adapt to nearly every climate. Using them as part of your wedding décor will not only make it an eco-friendly wedding, but will aid in creating an elegant look and feel.

This inspiration board clearly shows the diversity of this beautiful plant found in most areas in South Africa, and how easy it is to incorporate them into most of your décor, even your bouquet, boutonnieres and seating cards.

Often little succulent plants are given away as favours to the guests to remember the wedding by.

Did you use succulents at your wedding? Then send us your pictures, we love hearing from our brides!

Although the contrast of using colourful flowers in your wedding bouquet always looks pretty, one cannot help but love the classic white bouquet. What makes this option even more viable is that almost all flowers come in white, giving you (and your florist) a great variety of flowers to choose from.

Did you have an “all white bouquet”? Then send us your pictures, we love hearing from our brides.

In support of Brest Cancer Awareness month and the Big Walk for Cancer having taken place last Saturday, we were inspired to create additional awareness of this curable disease, by doing a beautiful pink mood board.

One in 29 women in South Africa will be diagnosed with breast cancer - but with early detection this disease is fully curable. This is why every woman needs to do regular self-examinations.
