Bunting Theme DIY
Bunting flags have definitely made a comeback, and they look divine in a beautiful garden setting. They can be used for any celebratory event, not just for weddings. Ingrid Marias (www.ingridmarais.co.za) provided us with a gorgeous Bunting flag DIY. These are easy to make and are a great little afternoon project. Ingrid suggests using cardboard when printing the flags to prevent the ends from drooping.

You’re Invited
Simply print the invitation template on white card, complete your details and attach a small bow to give it that special touch. Pop it in the envelope, and you’re done!

… and Eat It Too!
Decorate your cupcakes, mini rolls or even hamburgers with these gorgeous little bunting flags. Simply print and cut them out and stick to a toothpick. Ingrid has provided two templates, one with the words “eat me” and a blank alternative on which you can write your own words.

Wave Your Flag
The last project in this series are the larger bunting flags which can be “thread” with rope and hung from arches or even trees in the garden. Once again, a black template has been provided, as well as template options with the words “Love” and “Celebration” can be printed. If you are going to be using it for outdoors then ensure you use sturdy cardboard to prevent it from bending or tearing in the wind.
