Anneke and Warwick tied the knot on Saturday, 27 November 2010 at the Sionsrand Dutch Reformed Church in Port Elizabeth.

Although they stuck to a traditional ceremony, the couple both agree that it was extremely special.

ATTIRE

Claire from Bridal Flair ensure that Anneke felt like a princess in her beautiful traditional white gown. With layers of organza the skirt part of the dress was adorned with crystals and pulled up slightly to the side of the waist with white satin. The boob tube bodice was tastefully decorated with diamante's, crystals as well as a hint of embroidery.

Anneke's gran whom passed away a couple of years ago made each of her granddaughters a white garter. This garter was given to Anneke when she turned 13 and she wore it on her special day in memory of her gran.

Estelle Cunningham did Anneke's make-up and her hair was done by Louisa and Leo from Couture.

Warwick and his groomsmen wore suits from Hire Society.

DETAILS

The reception was held at "The Manor" in Sardinia Bay, Port Elizabeth. The French styled villa lent itself to not needing any draping and has big wooden doors that could be opened up to let light fill the space. Lynley from Floral Creations was responsible for the beautiful Casablanca Lily floral center pieces while Designer Decor supplied all the hired items. With a "funky yet elegent" wedding theme, the venue was decorated with polkadots in black, lime green and touches of silver. Lots of crystals and mirrors were also incorporated to set the mood for the wedding of their dreams.

Salvelio recorded the whole occasion to ensure the couple have the chance to watch it over and over again.

Triple M Music made sure that the guests had a fun time on the dancefloor.

Papermaster printed most of the couple's beautiful wedding stationery.

On their wedding day the bride was transported in a black hummer and after the ceremony the couple enjoyed driving around in this car whilst having photographs take.

THE CAKE

House of Bakes baked the beautiful wedding cake. With two tiers chocolate and 2 tiers lemon poppy flavour, there was a piece of cake to suit most of the guests taste. The top tier was white with black and green stripes, completed with a green rose and black feather. The second tier was white with a copied image of our candle holders. The third tier was the main attraction covered in lime green with black polka dots. The fourth tier was white, finished off with black and lime green satin ribbon.

DIY BRIDE

Together with the help of her bridesmaids, Anneke hung crystals from the roof of the venue with green and black polka dot ribbon. She also had gift boxes sprayed black and each guest received a personalised shot glass with the couples name and wedding date.

Cherie Theron took the most amazing photographs of Anneke and Warwick's special day.

HONEYMOON

After the wedding the couple enjoyed their honeymoon at the beautiful Blue Horizon Guest House in Gordons Bay

ADVICE

Words of wisdom from Anneke: "Know what you and your fiancé want, and don’t opt for anything else. It is your day, so it should be your way! Don’t’ spend all your time on wedding talk, limit it to once/twice a week (except for when it gets to the last weeks before the wedding) Choose your bridesmaids wisely! Get enough rest and take vitimans….don’t forget to enjoy the planning and all the friendships you make along the way….have fun x 1000000!!"

On 12 February 2011, in front of 111 of their closest friends and family, Cindy and Russell said their vows at The Plantation in Port Elizabeth and exchanged beautiful wedding bands from Ritters. Two Tone Productions were responsible for the ceremony music as well as the cocktail entertainment afterwards.

ATTIRE

Cindy bought her dress at Pronovias in London, Bond street, and it forms part of the 2011 collection called Frisol. It is an A- Line Ivory lace, organza, heron & Paris Garza gown with drapes, natural folds, ruffles & tulle. The bodice is a strapless sweetheart neckline adorned with the finest of pearl beads & precious stones.

Her incredible platform peep-toe style shoes were also bought in the UK from Benjamin Adams. The shoes, encrusted with hundreds of sparkling clear Swarovski crystals was definitely a show stopper.

With one of Port Elizabeth's leading make-up artists, Theano Zenios doing her make-up, Cindy was in very capable hands. Helen from Hairquarters was responsible for her romantic hairdo.

The men wore beautiful suits from Tux and Tails also situated in the UK.

DETAILS

Lynley from Floral Creations did all the beautiful flower centerpieces whilst most of the decor items were hired from Designer Decor. The flowers consisted of burn’t pink carnations, cream roses, soft pink roses & tubar roses. The Reception venue table décor consisted two different themes. The first theme consisted of cream brocade table cloths, candelabras draped with pearls with a ring of fresh flowers at the base. It also had four mini roses in silver vase’s, two crystal candle holders, silver plate holders, silver vintage menu holder and scatterings of pearls & crystals. The second theme consisted of a silver tower with fresh flowers on top draped underneath with pearls, the rest was the same as the above. The main table consisted of crystal hurricane’s, oil candle burners & flowers in tillet bowls. Above the main table there were three crystal chandeliers.

Shane from Enjoy Productions kept the guests on the dance floor while Craig from My World Creations captured everthing on video.

THE CAKE

The wedding cake was a simple three tier death by chocolate cake hidden under white marzipan and decorated with an array of fresh flowers seated on a silver cake stand.

FUN IDEAS

The couple hired a photobooth together with some props and the guests were able to take some photo's while the couple was out having their own photographs taken. After the wedding the couple received a cd full of photo's taken by their guests at their wedding.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Ingrid Marais helped capture this beautiful wedding by taking some amazing photographs.

HONEYMOON

After their wedding the couple enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon at Dinarobin spa resort at Mauritius.

ADVICE

Some advice from Cindy: "Don’t forget to enjoy yourself in the planning stages. Don’t make it into a labourious task that just has to be done, take photo’s and make happy memories."
