In 2009 Paris Hilton launched her timeless and beautiful bridal shoe collection, which we’ve decided to share it with you. With her fashion industry know-how and savvy style, who better to turn to when it comes to shoes… especially for your big day!

With quirky pink soles and stunning attention to detail, this heiress promised to deliver beautiful bridal shoes to suit every bride’s style. And not only that, but every brides pocket too… and we think she succeeded!

These shoes are exclusively available from (www.myglasslipper.com), but the good news is that they do accept international orders, so what are you waiting for?

Alternatively, if you can’t get your hands on a pair of Paris’s shoes, then visit Catherines Bridal Accessories or Annella's Shoes

Describing her most memorable moment of having 80 of her close family and friends witness her dad walking her down the aisle and her fiancée standing tall awaiting her at the end is what Melissa wants to remember her wedding day by. This beautiful couple tied the knot on 4 December 2010 at the Old Apostolic Church, in Charlo Port Elizabeth, followed by the reception held at Thatchwoods.

ATTIRE

Melissa wore a flattering mermaid style wedding gown hired from Claire at Bridal Flair. The white gown, embellished with lots of silver detail was paired with organza and finished off with jewellery from Diva. Theano Zenios made sure this bride looked radiant with her professional make-up.

The men, kitted out by Heinz in Style looked ravishing in their classic black and white attire and Henk even sported black braces.

DETAILS

Melissa’s romantic themed wedding with soft pinks and creams and lots of soft candle lighting was really taken to heart by Floral Creations by Lynley amazing flower designs and overall look. The guests each got to take a rose shaped candle home as a gift from the couple.

THE CAKE

We just love wedding cake which suited the romantic theme so well. It consisted of pink and white cupcakes on a beautiful glass stand and the cake topper looked like a huge cupcake.

DIY BRIDE

Some of the items at their wedding Melissa had made herself. These included embellishing the stationery, as well as the design of the candy buffet. Henk also got his hands “crafty” by cutting out wooden heart shapes for the pew decorations which Melissa then painted and beaded herself.

ADVICE

Melissa’s advice to future brides: “Enjoy every second of the planning, because before you know it the day has come and gone. There is nothing you can do on the day so just relax, sit back and see all you’re hard work come to life“

After the wedding the couple enjoyed their honeymoon at the beautiful Emily Moon River Lodge

The wedding photographs, taken by the talented Ingrid Marais Photography truly shows what a magical day Henk and Melissa had.

Although the contrast of using colourful flowers in your wedding bouquet always looks pretty, one cannot help but love the classic white bouquet. What makes this option even more viable is that almost all flowers come in white, giving you (and your florist) a great variety of flowers to choose from.

Did you have an “all white bouquet”? Then send us your pictures, we love hearing from our brides.
