Are Wedding Favours Essential?

You are not obliged to give wedding favours on your wedding day. Couples who prefer not to give wedding favours are usually influenced by budget limitations. Wedding favours indeed can take a hefty chunk out of your budget; but the cost of purchasing wedding favours is justified with many reasons why wedding favours should be provided. Lets face it, your wedding day wouldn't be nearly as much fun or memorable without all your loving friends and family who travelled from near and far to celebrate the occasion.
Express your thanks with wedding favours that are meaningful and will be appreciated by your guests. This doesn’t mean that you have to sweep guests off their feet with an Oscar-style gift bag, rather, some nicely packaged truffles or sugar cookies is enough to show you appreciate them.
Never fear - if you decide against wedding favours, your guests will understand. Many bridal couples these days are on a tight budget and pay for the wedding themselves, so certain niceties do have to be cut.
