The Wedding Expo® is South Africa’s premier bridal exhibition, held twice a year in April and August at the Coca-Cola dome. The show is host to 300 exhibitors specialising in all your wedding day needs, from dresses, décor and stationery to gifts, honeymoons and jewellery – you can find everything at The Wedding Expo®. The Wedding Expo® celebrates marriage and is the right place for you to find inspiration, service providers and to have all your wedding questions answered. There is something to for every bride and groom’s individual style and budget. A wedding is a very personal event and our exhibitors will be able to provide you with a variety of styles and skills, professionalism and that personal touch you need to make your wedding unique to you!
2012 is The Wedding Expo’s 10 year Anniversay and 17th bridal exhibition. This is one bridal exhibition you do not want to miss.
What’s Hot and Happening at The Wedding Expo®
The show is host to 4 fashion shows daily. The Wedding Expo® supports South African couturiers with 2 shows daily dedicated to designer bridal wear and menswear from some of Gauteng’s top designers. Then there are 2 fashion shows daily for the bridal wear stores who sell ready-to-wear and imported gowns of excellent quality with a wide variety of designs. You are sure to find a dress that will make you feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. All of the designers and bridal wear stores can be found exhibiting at the show.
We have also introduced the Chef’s Kitchen, where enthusiastic couples can watch the Chef’s from local venues and catering companies putting their culinary skills on show. You can find the perfect meal for your wedding day or get great tips and ideas for when you host your first dinner party as a newly married couple. Take time to chat to the Chef’s afterwards or visit them at their stands.
There are also always wonderful competitions at the show. Exhibitors hold promotional competitions and The Wedding Expo gives away a R200 000 Wedding!!

Fashion Shows
The Wedding Expo® supports the South African Couturiers and so we differentiate between South African designers and the imported labels sold “off the peg” at your wedding dress stores. The line up of the fashion shows can be found on the visitors page on the website.

Chef’s Kitchen
The chef’s kitchen has 6 -8 sessions a day where chef’s from venues and catering companies show off their culinary skills, give advice on cooking, ideas for your wedding menu and also give you inspiration for your first dinner parties as a married couple. They are fun, enlightening and interactive.
Competitions
The Wedding Expo® holds one major Win a R200 000 competition at each show where one lucky couple win the wedding of their dreams. Entry forms are at the show and details on sponsors and how to enter go up closer to the show and can be found on the competitions page on the website.Our exhibitors also hold fabulous competitions where you stand a chance to win a host of great prizes. These competitions and prizes are also on the website under the competitions page and go online about a month before the show.
Free Goodies
Each visitor to the show receives their free copy of the latest Wedding Inspirations magazine. Wedding Inspirations magazine is a quarterly, A5 magazine sold in CNA, Spar and Dischem, “You bridesmaid in your handbag”. Perfect for taking you with you everywhere and FULL of great ideas, inspirational weddings and lots more.
